THE COFFEE LEAD
Finding the balance.
Dials in the espresso each morning, tastes the house brew, and helps guests find a drink they will enjoy. Good coffee should be easy to ask about.
A PLACE TO FEEL AT HOME
We believe a neighborhood needs places where you can simply show up.

Daybreak is imagined as the sort of place that becomes part of your routine. The first stop before work. The table where a good idea starts. A quiet window seat after a long week.
Our approach is simple: choose good ingredients, take care over the small things, and make everyone feel welcome. Coffee is where it begins. Company is what makes you stay.

THE LITTLE THINGS MATTER
A balanced espresso. A pastry that’s still warm. A counter that feels familiar from your first visit.

In the fictional story behind Daybreak, two friends wanted a café that could become part of a town’s daily rhythm: early enough for the first shift, welcoming enough for a long conversation, and simple enough to visit without an occasion.
The idea began around a kitchen table with a notebook of recipes and a question: what makes somewhere feel like your place? The answer was less about having the biggest menu and more about remembering the little things.
That became Daybreak: a small coffee room with natural light, warm materials, a focused breakfast menu, and room for people to slow down.
BEHIND THE COUNTER
The imagined team is small enough that everyone helps create the welcome, from the first espresso to the last clean table.
THE COFFEE LEAD
Dials in the espresso each morning, tastes the house brew, and helps guests find a drink they will enjoy. Good coffee should be easy to ask about.
THE KITCHEN LEAD
Plans the seasonal board, prepares breakfast, and makes sure the small menu stays consistent. Familiar ingredients get careful attention.
THE FRONT-OF-HOUSE TEAM
Keeps the counter moving and the room welcoming. A quick recommendation or a friendly hello can make a regular stop feel personal.
OUR APPROACH
A comfortable house roast anchors the menu. A rotating coffee brings a new origin or flavor profile into the conversation, with tasting notes in plain language.
Small seasonal changes keep the board interesting without replacing the favorites people return for. Think maple in autumn, bright fruit in warmer months, and pastries that suit the day.
The café is imagined as a meeting place for nearby workers, families, and independent businesses. A community noticeboard and shared tables make space for those everyday connections.
